Kumeu Montessori Preschool is a boutique early childhood centre for children aged from six months to six years, located in Kumeu, West Auckland.

Our goal is to inspire children to become the best they can be: developing the mind, nurturing self-confidence, encouraging independence, cultivating curiosity, fostering respect, celebrating diversity, and creating happy, confident and lifelong learners.

We are family people, and know that to learn and flourish, children must feel safe and loved in a secure and happy environment. This is our first priority.

We have two beautiful classrooms, each designed with children in mind. Our learning spaces have an intimate, family feel, where each child receives a tailor made education from experienced teachers who know them, and know what they are ready to discover next. Each classroom is carefully prepared, rich in high quality materials, creating a wide range of opportunities for children to explore. 

Our diverse curriculum is child centred and child led. Children choose the activities of most interest to them and, as they develop, are regularly introduced to new concepts. Our teachers have an intimate understanding of the learning process which ensures that each child is guided toward opportunities that engage and challenge them.
